@user_jse96 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I'm sorry to hear you are running into an error with your email. Can you confirm if the issue is still occurring and the specific error message you are receiving? Additionally, can you confirm how you are accessing the email? Is it through our Xfinity webmail client? If so, can you confirm what web browsers you have tried and if you have also tried incognito mode?

Hi there! Thanks for sharing that error. I can definitely understand how frustrating that can be when you're just trying to send an email. The message “An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request” usually points to a server-side issue. In some cases, it can be related to things like temporary interruptions or how the server is handling the message. That said, it can also happen if the sending server is being flagged due to patterns that may resemble spam activity. If that’s the case, your email administrator may need to review the server settings or sending limits to prevent any blocks moving forward. Here are a couple of helpful next steps:
  • Reach out to your email administrator (if this is a work or hosted email) and share this exact error message
  • If you're sending from a third-party system or custom domain, they can review server reputation and configuration
  • If you're using a dynamic IP, you may want to explore using a static IP or working with your provider for best practices

If you’d like more immediate assistance with potential blocking or security concerns, you can also contact our Customer Security Assurance team at 1-888-565-4329.

If you’re not sure which setup you’re using, feel free to let us know. Our team of experts are happy to help narrow it down over social media.👍
