An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request

I am getting the following error message: "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request." This happens when I search my email. It will not find any key word or name and my work depends on me being able to search client names and email addresses. Also, existing emails have a message "this message has no content" when I know this is not the case. The phone support has been no help, though I do have a 2 ticket numbers. But they seem to be unable to understand the issue. Even at the escalated level, they couldn't understand the actual sentence of the error message. I literally had to spell out words like "occured", "fulfilling" and "prevented". I have had the same comcast email address for 20 years. Please help. I use this email exclusively for work and I have already lost projects due to this issue.

@XfinityRoberto

I am having the same problem (An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request.) and have been having it for over two years. No one has been able to help. It is now so bad that I can not search or send any emails using my Comcast (Xfinity) account. Please help!

Hello, user_71723e. This is a long time to have this issue. Please allow me to take a look into this for you here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

   Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

   Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

I can still receive emails, but cannot send or reply even after work on your end. Please, fix this because I need this account to do work because everyone sends email to this account. I hate telling them to send emails to a different account, especially since I am paying for this one.
