all of my emails from the past 23 days have vanished from my account
I just logged into my Xfinity email. All of my messages from 5/10/23 through 5:39 pm EST time today are missing. In other words, every message I received over the past 23 days has vanished. They are missing from my inbox and the personalized folders I set up. It's as though my email account has been restored to 5/10/23.
I checked my trash, but they are not there. I checked "Recover Deleted Items" in Xfinity email's web-based client, but that also doesn't show any emails after 5/10.
This is a bug, not a security issue. There is also no indication that I've been hacked. A hacker wouldn't break into my account and then go through each folder and delete messages going back to 5/10. What would be the point of that? And even if they did, those messages should appear under "Recover Deleted Items". The fact that they don't appear in Xfinity's recovery option means the weren't deleted, at least not in the conventional sense.
I've checked my Xfinity email account through Xfinity email's web-based client on two different computers/browsers, and the iOS app on my phone. Same result. None of them show any emails between 5/10/23 and today.

Sorry, I forgot to mention an important detail. When I logged in this evening, there were a number of previously deleted messages from 5/10 in my inbox. In other words, not only are my more recent messages missing, but old deleted messages were restored. Which isn't something a hacker could do -- so this is more evidence of a bug, rather than a security issue. It's also more evidence to suggest my email account was somehow restored to 5/10/23.

I just checked again and the issue appears to have been fixed. My messages from 5/10 through 6/2 were restored. This is very, very strange.

I have the same issue, my emails are gone when I checked the trash file it only goes to May 10

My emails have been restored, Comcast should let us what happened; I spent a great amount of time getting a couple of messages from the originals senders

@user_92fb0b , I'm glad your emails were restored as well.
It's interesting that we both had the same exact and very specific problem, where all emails after 5/10 disappeared for a few hours. To me, that suggests a problem with Comcast's servers. I'm guessing we weren't the only people with this issue, though some people might not have noticed if they didn't check their account during those few hours when the problem appeared.
