all emails on laptop disappeared

Today I lost all my emails on my laptop.  Nothing is in any trash/spam/junk folder.  I tried to recover but nothing.  The emails are no where to be found.  I still see them on my iphone but I am scared if I turn it off I will lose the only place I can see all in emails that were in my inbox.  I had some very important items.  Can you help?

Check and see if you have filters or email rules set up or not.

@user_j2n34c Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache on your computer and checking your email again while on the website?
