Adding NEW Email
One would think adding a NEW email address to my Xfinity Account would be straight forward and simple ..... Not SO ...
Following the Xfinity "How TO" link here - https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-email-contact-settings - after entering the new E Mail address
@comcast.net I get the error "Error Modal" 99 + times- PIC - After 40 minutes threw my hands up ... SO SAD Another reason it's NOT Awesome

The concern is not "Non-X1 Service" help related. Thread moved here to the proper help section for assistance.

Hey there! I am truly sorry to hear you are having and issue with getting a new email added. Normally with this error, clearing your cache and cookies on the browser will help. Have you tried doing that, and then go back to create that?

It is unbelievable! Creating a new email address and adding it to an account should be the easiest, most stress free thing to do on the internet yet Comcast has made this simple task complicated and frustrating. Comcast, if I may make a suggestion. Have one of your Jr. IT employees make it so all your customers have to do is: 1. Sign In 2. Go to account 3. Add new email address 4. Enter. WaLa!!

I know you’re asking OP but I was unable to create an additional email address. I continued to get that Error Modal message. I called 800-COMCAST but did not have the time or patience to complete the maze to speak with an agent. I will have to try again when I have an hour of free time and am not feeling frustrated.

It shouldn't, especially if you create the new user as a Viewer, compared to the other two user types.
Note that you need to be logged in as the Primary user to do this.
After the new user account is created, you'll need to log in with the new ID to https://connect.xfinity.com/ and accept the terms to complete creation of the new user's email account.
