adding bank detail

i want to add bank detail but it's saying I cannot, and only have credit/debit card option.

Xfinity agent promised i'll pay only 55 dollar after 10$ discount for setting autopay with bank info.

I feel cheataed and want this resolved ASAP.

This is not the feeling we want for anyone, user_ey0u91! If you have Xfinity Internet and enroll in automatic payments and paperless billing using a stored bank account, you’ll receive a $10 monthly discount. The discount usually starts within 45 days, but it may take up to two billing cycles to appear.

I also wanted to share how you're able to set up autopay:

Sign in to your account.
Go to Billing > Bill Settings > Autopay.
Choose or add a bank account (Plaid is used for secure verification).
Agree to the terms and click Set Up.
You’ll get a confirmation on-screen and by email. Let me know if you’d like help walking through the steps!

@XfinityThomasA

Xfinity page does not give me option to add bank detail for both internet and phone, right now.

It said I can only add credit card. WHY

I want it fixed.

@user_ey0u91 sorry to hear the option for the bank account add isn't available right now. From experience, I've seen if there have been returned payments using a specific method that it can be blocked from using. Here is a previous post I found that I worked on that has more information: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/billing/payment-method/650c35191f2d714c3a6e8b1a

- Did you previously use a bank account for any payments, and if so were any returned?
