100% Email quota message
Hi
I have been getting this message on and off for awhile. I delete emails but the lowest I can can my percentage down to is 95%. I have cleared out all of the folders I had setup so that they are pretty much empty which is upsetting because they were messages that I wanted to keep which is why I went to the trouble of setting up folders and moved messages to them.
I empty my trash folder regularly and I do not have large attachment files. I am constantly deleting messages that I really don’t want to delete but I get desperate so I wind up deleting them.
Can I archive emails somewhere that I can still have access to them but clear space so I don’t get the messages and have to jump through hoops every 2-3 months?
Can I pay for more storage space? I don’t want to use another email address because it would be too much confusion for my business. I have had an aol account for more than 20 years and never had this issue and I can access emails from the beginning of that account 20+ years ago and never had a “quota” issue. I prefer the Xfinity email service which is why I am desperately trying to hold onto this email account.
Any help is be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cindy

Hello, rickrox, thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums and for sharing your concerns about the mailbox space limitations you're experiencing. I understand your frustration and appreciate you taking the time to explain the situation in detail. I also understand that managing email storage can be challenging, especially when you rely heavily on your email for business purposes. While Xfinity doesn't offer a paid upgrade for increased mailbox storage, I can offer some helpful tips to optimize your email usage:
Utilize Xfinity Email's Web Interface: To effectively manage your mailbox space, consider logging directly into Xfinity.com and accessing your email through our web interface. This will allow you to:
Leverage Email Filters: Create and refine your email filters to automatically move unwanted emails (like spam, newsletters, and social media notifications) directly to the trash or a designated folder.
If you continue to experience issues after implementing these suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
