Xfinity will not provide a working unlock code

10 days ago I started the process of porting out a line to another carrier. The phone was paid for and met all requirements to be unlocked. Yet, it was still locked. A dozen phone calls and 7 wasted hours and the phone is still locked. I was given an unlock code that doesn't work. I have tried everything suggested and all I am told is that the code is valid and SHOULD work. I need a working code without any more runaround. [Edit: removed private info].

asylum7830 Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your porting issue. This is not the experience we want any customer to have. It does look like you have gotten this escalated to the highest support team already. With the ticket you provided, I can see that due to the level of support, this has been escalated to you will have a dedicated point of contact for your concern. They should have provided direct contact information either via email or by phone. If you have any concerns you will need to reach out to your point of contact. Did you by chance receive an email from your support agent? If so, their contact information should be located at the bottom.
