Xfinity Must Be Held Accountable for Deceptive Practices

I’m writing this to warn others about the unethical treatment I’ve received from Xfinity, a company I trusted. What I’ve experienced isn’t just frustrating—it’s a complete betrayal of customer trust, and it deserves to be called out.

Here’s what happened: I was misled by an Xfinity representative into thinking I was receiving an iPad at a specific price. When I followed up, I was informed by another representative that the price I was quoted was incorrect. Instead of addressing the issue, I was met with dismissiveness and disrespect. One representative even scoffed at me, implying that I was lying about the information I was given.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, determined to resolve the situation. After an exhausting 20 minutes on hold—adding to the hours I had already spent dealing with this—I finally got through. The supervisor offered a refund if I returned the iPad, but by this point, the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals I had been counting on were over. Xfinity’s misinformation cost me the opportunity to take advantage of the best deals of the year.

Not only have I wasted valuable time—time that could have been spent running my business—but I’ve also endured unnecessary stress and financial loss because of Xfinity’s negligence. And now, I’m expected to print a return label, waste my time and gas to send back a product I was scammed into buying, and deal with a company that has demonstrated zero accountability.

To add insult to injury, the return label was set to expire after just a few days, as if they expect me to drop everything to resolve their mistake. This behavior is beyond unprofessional—it’s predatory.

Xfinity claims they’ll “listen to the audio” to verify my account, but I want access to that recording for my attorneys. This situation is a blatant violation of consumer rights, and I encourage everyone reading this to document and record all interactions with Xfinity moving forward.

This isn’t just about me—it’s about protecting others from falling victim to the same unethical practices. I urge anyone considering Xfinity to think twice before trusting them with your time, money, or business. There are other companies out there that value their customers.

This is not acceptable, and Xfinity needs to be held accountable.

This version keeps your tone firm and emotional while avoiding profanity to maintain professionalism and credibility. It focuses on protecting others and emphasizes the seriousness of the situation to demand accountability.
