Xfinity gave me the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced in my life. [Edited]
This is not going to be proper as far as spelling and run on sentences so I apologize.
Xfinity, I'm just posting on here so you can see how awful you guys are at trying to resolve such a simple problem and making it into such a [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"]. I was moving out of my residence that I had Xfinity in for a few years and prior to that I have had Xfinity for about 6 years. They always upsell me on something and I'm always stupid enough to take it and they end up not following through with they're guaranteed price that they sell me on And that's still [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] because no matter how much I would reach out or call or go in the store, All of a sudden no one can [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] help me with my problem of giving me the price that was promised. Anyways that's not what this rant is about.
This rant is about me moving from one residence to the other and not needing Xfinity internet anymore.
So normally when you are moving, you give them your new address and then they set up your internet there and cancel the old address internet. Well in this instance where I was moving I did not need to pay for internet anymore which I was thinking that was amazing because how much money I would save. That was totally wrong because Xfinity was coming for blood. I gave them my move out date and told him I would no longer be needing internet and I would be returning the device as soon as I got into the city of my new residence. They were happy to oblige and say okay we will get this handled for you and that was it. I also have Xfinity Mobile by the way. Anyways I moved to my new place and it does take me longer than I promise to return my router I must admit but I'm not using internet with it. I end up getting a call from Xfinity billing saying you are past due on your payment blah blah blah, I'm confused and I go into a store. Of course every time you go into an Xfinity store they can't help you there and You end up having to call [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"]customer service to get your problem resolved. I explained the situation and I explain that I haven't been in that house since February 12th my move out date that I gave you guys and requested canceling of my service and I did receive an email confirmation of that as well. Of course they did not cancel my service and continue to charging me for internet. I told them to look into the data that as you can see anything past February 12th no data has been used. They looked at the info and agreed with me but yet I still had to pay the bill. I requested a supervisor and of course I got disconnected. I tried again the next day and got disconnected again. I tried again the a third day and was just so fed up with all the lies and [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] fake promises because they said of course sir we will fix your bill and you will get a new revised bill and your Xfinity app and you just pay the amount which at the time they told me would be like 20 something dollars and I was like okay great. Of course that never happened and [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] I kept the ticket number of that phone call and every phone call after that. A month goes by her so and the amount is still going up and at this point I am so living I don't know what to do with myself because if I call or go in the store I'm just going to [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"]. I ignore the situation and that's when I noticed my mobile bill almost doubling in price. Now why the [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] is my phone bill going up too? I give him a call about that oh they say since I don't have internet through them anymore the mobile deals I have through them are all gone and now my phone bill is almost disgustingly expensive for something so basic where I could get for $35 anywhere else. I try to resolve this issue and get a phone transfer pin to go to a different company with my number. They give me the runaround and eventually say that I'm not getting my pin because I have to pay off my phone okay I get that let me pay off my phone no now you you have to pay your past due bill of $170 or something to activate your phone again that way you can pay off your phone so you can get a phone transfer pin and then you can transfer your service and cancel your lines through Xfinity Mobile. I was so fed up I just said okay let's do it and during the process of making a payment over the phone I got disconnected and just tried paying it through the app but the price in the app in the price they were charging me over the phone or vastly different and I did not want to pay $300 instead of $170 that they were going to do over the phone. So I tried calling again and got disconnected during the payment process again like how is this happening every time is this intentional do they train their employees to do this? I'm done with Xfinity I tell myself. I let a week go by and decide to try to go in the store stupidly, and I wait behind the 10 people also complaining about Xfinity and eventually it's my turn and they can see The bill in the amount I spoke to them about over the phone but for some reason they can't charge my card in the store... Why why can't the employees in your own stores take my money? Why do I have to call customer service in order to resolve this issue every time? I just got done sitting in the parking lot for over an hour and a half with customer service going back and forth because now the $300 amount I saw last week is the amount they want to charge me and that $170, oh that was only good for one day and since that day was last week you have to pay the full 300.
Also my phone has been shut off through them for almost a month now, why are you charging me full price, let alone at all, for phone service that you disconnected already? I am absolutely not paying that, like I was willing to pay off my full bill past due and everything in the very beginning to get my transfer pin so I can tell you guys [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] finally after 9 years but no, you guys had to make this process so [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] difficult and so frustrating that no one in their right mind would try to continue with the process. I tried to talk to a supervisor to get them to understand The situation I have been dealing with with them since I moved on February 12th and that if they were willing to credit my Mobile account for a service then doesn't work and is disconnected already for past do payment and let me pay the $170 and call it good, we would be square but nope, they can't do that.
I have also read on a lot of these forums that Xfinity responds to saying oh just go into the store in a manager can identify you and give your transfer pin. That is a bold lie because I have been to every location there is and Colorado Springs and not one of their employees or managers have ever heard of that and could not do it for me, they always tell me only Xfinity mobile customer service could do it and every time I call customer service, it never ends well. Xfinity, you can look all this up in my account, and I can give you all the tracking numbers for every ticket and every phone call I made, and I can guarantee you will still decide to [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] instead of working with a 9-year long customer.
