xfinity free phone scam

I was lied to about getting a free phone, then was charged $400, cancelled everything but they never did letting bill accumulate. Phone broke in 3 weeks, buttons fell off, phone completely unusable, xfinity wouldnt take it back as they had changed MOTOS 1 yr warranty to 2 weeks. Hmm, I wonder why, maybe beacause they knew phones were defective thats why they changed warranty. I want to file a complaint before I contact xfinity legal and FCC.

@user_trh565 2 weeks is the time frame after you signup to cancel service and return the phone for a full refund. 1 year is the MFR warranty on the phone. You need to contact Motorola for warranty repair and support. https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/repair-faqs/category/how-submit-repair

Well, someone is not telling truth. Support sent me to Motorola, but Motorola said  their was some kind of deal with the  phones and xfinity was responsible. the phone overheated, dropped calls, turned off on it's  own. Last thing on third week all the buttons fell off, and support said I would have to pay to get it fixed. After doing research on the phone there was no way [Edited: "Language"] I would have bought this phone with the myriad amount of problems it had. I believe comcast made a deal with Moto for a batch of defective phones that they could push off on customers, that's why support lied and said they were free. Your correct Moto does haave a yr warranty, that's why xfinity changed it to 2 weeks. Why would xfinity pass off a phone with so many known problems to its customers? Either someone needs to be fired or xfinity was complicent and just didnt give a [Edited: "Language"] long as they could make a dishonest dime. Why would support blatantly lie and say they were free? Guy tried to get me 2 get 2 phones thru the whole conversation, and I almost did it. I contacted corporate after BBB passed on my complaint. Basically they passed it on to support, which is in Pakistan,India or someplace over their, and they told me I was [Edited: "Language"], I couldnt return it. Tried to contact corporate again, no response. I've contacted FCC now and explained problem. Doing research I see this isn't an isolated case. Thousands of other customers have the same complaint as I, they were lied to and scammed.  Like I said If no one who was a part of that deal wasn't fired for incompetence; simple research would have revealed problems, then it was xfinitys plan to purchase a defective product to scam their customers with. I'm using the word scammed due to the fact that customers were blatantly lied to in order to  complete sale. I want these [Edited: "Language"] charges taken off my credit report, I am not paying $400+ for a phone that worked for 3 weeks. Hopefully the FCC can get me direct contact with someone who can remedy this problem. Your support is a joke and it's impossible to speak to someone professional and know what they are doing. One last question, why didn't I receive a notice  that xfinity was hacked? My account info is out there and thats a definate. From the chatter I'm hearing sounds like xfinity was hacked again recently. Hot mess....
