Xfinity app unable to login on a new Phone
Problem Steps:
Got a new Phone and trying to activate it.
Activation says install Xfinity app and follow instructions.
Xfinity app takes to Login Screen. Login is successful.
Redirects to Xfinity app which still shows as not logged in. When I say continue, it takes me to chrome screen which says "you are already logged in as ..." and back to Xfinity app which shows as not logged in.
It is a continuous loop and I have tried many things as suggested on other answers. Cleared Cache, reinstalled Xfinity App etc.
Unable to get any live Xfinity support too. That AI chat is useless.

Update -
Tried multiple updates and installs to no avail.
However, was able to reach an agent on chat and he said to try from the browser or another device, to activate phone.
Chrome browser - logged into Xfinity, do not even see the activate phone options. :-(
Xfinity iPHONE App (on a different phone) - worked - went to devices menu, selected device for activation. Finally got the eSim QR screen and was able to activate the new phone.
The Xfinity app on Android still does not work, even after activation. deleted the useless Xfinity App.
