Voicemail Unavailable

My dad needed to buy a new phone because his old one stopped working. He is on Xfinity Mobile and got a new phone at an Xfinity store. They did not provision his voicemail properly. This is a common issue that has happened many times before. I believe it is caused by employee negligence, but it could also be an issue with the system. I cannot contact my father via voicemail. I need this working again so I can communicate with him. Obviously it shouldn't be in this not working state. He is paying for voicemail as part of his service, and he is being denied. Please fix this issue. I can provide his phone number, and any other detail you might want.
