Voice mail on phone

When I get a voice mail and try to listen to it, I get a message saying that there's a problem and contact customer service.  It is trying to download visual voicemail but can't.

I also have this problem and message.  Also, callers receive a message that my voice mailbox is full... but I have all of 3 messages under 20 seconds in there.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I finally tried to resolve the problem by uninstalling my security program.  That worked, but now my phone is vulnerable.  Anyone know if there is a setting for a security program that will not interfere with VM?  I am using Avast.
