Unlock device issue - military orders

Hi guys i really need help unlocking my phone, ive been in contact with the agents/customer service and they are opening a ticket regarding my issue. I am on military deployment orders and i need my device unlocked so i can use a different service while overseas. The problem is the agents would tell me that i dont need to send/upload my deployment orders but whenever the people who processes it checks the ticket, they immediately rejects it due to not having a military orders provided. Is there anyone here that can help me with this issue? This run around is starting to get frustrating. I checked the policy from xfinity website and i am sure that i am eligible without fully playing the device.

aarono8 First and foremost, thank you for your service. I am incredibly sorry for the frustration you’ve faced while preparing for your deployment. You should not be receiving conflicting information, and I want to ensure this is handled correctly, so you can use your device overseas. I would be honored to assist. I’ll review your existing tickets and make sure your deployment orders reach the right team to finalize your unlock request. Please send a Direct Message with your full name and service address to get started.

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I've been having the exact same issue. I just went through a PCS and they won't allow me to unlock my phone, and I'm about to deploy overseas and they wont unlock my phone. The store says talk to someone on the phone, the customer service line says go into the store. This has been going on for weeks. They also won't wave my early termination fee for PCS. Good luck.

yup they declined my unlock request because their "unlock policy requirements haven’t been met". yeah of course it's not met, their customer support that was submitting my ticket does not request my orders even after i told them I NEED TO SEND IT TO THEM, so the people that unlocks it just toss it down the drain immediately when they see it because there's no attached orders. don't even get me started with the people in their store lol, they literally don't know what they are talking about. they keep saying that they cannot do anything about when it's a written policy on their website. their service is not bad at all but [Edited: "Profanity"]their customer service [Edited: "Profanity"]. i helped one of my guys get their phone unlock thru AT&T and it literally took less than 24hrs from the time i emailed them till it got unlocked.

Hey so messaging them from here is actually way better than calling customer support, as soon as they responded from here, my phone was unlocked after 24 hours. I informed them what the issue was, device IMEI, my address, phone number, military orders and e-mail. After contacting them, they immediately resolved the issue. Hope this helps! Good luck.

Yeah. I think it just takes several days and multiple people until they finally get someone or someone tells the agent they are working with what their policy on military is
