Unauthorized order and port out pin request

Hello,

The automated messaging advised there is a new order under my account where there shouldn’t be. Can you help provide more information around this?

I would also like to request port out pin to transfer my phone number to another carrier. I received text instructions from the virtual assistant, but the pathway provided does not work and I do not see devices under the xfinity mobile account.

Please help, thank you!

Try going to this link on the web to check your Xfinity Mobile devices; https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/my-account/devices

Or use the Xfinity App.

@user_yo3aho You're in the right place for help!

I have a link with those steps for the port out pin https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/cancel-xfinity-mobile-service

To use your phone with another service provider, you need to unlock it first I have a link with those steps as well https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/eligible-to-unlock-phone

Most of the time, your phone unlocks automatically within 48 hours of being paid off.

Here are the unlock rules:

Your phone must be activated for at least 60 days.

The phone must be paid in full.

Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.

Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.

Devices will not be eligible to use a SIM from another provider — such as a local data plan when traveling internationally — until all required device-unlock eligibility guidelines have been met.

Only the account holder, Primary user, or a Manager on a phone’s Xfinity Mobile account can request to have it unlocked.

Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so I can assist you further with your mobile account concerns.  To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page) • Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window • Press Enter to send your message
