Trade in catastrophe
This has been the worst experience ever ever. I’m so disappointed with the Xfinity and their two different business structures, one being American and one being foreign one being over the phone and one being in person. Neither side supports the other they treat you like they know nothing about one another your order of a phone online or over the phone with an agent you’re going to the store and they don’t honor it and vice versa. I was pushed for promoted at least information about the iPhone 17 and the deal they were running. I told them I like my 15 Pro Max. It works fine. I don’t know that there’s enough difference to get a 17 but you know every time I call and I hear it every time somebody speaks they tell me about it so I’ll try it out. They tell me you have 14 days to return it if you’re not satisfied. So I received the 17 for a week I didn’t even turn it on because I was just not interested. I had changed my mind the following week. I said you know what let me try it out so I turned it on they had given it its own separate number I use it and just like I thought it was too similar to the 15 so I boxed it up called in and said hey I’m gonna return the 17 and they said oh we can’t do that. It’s still shows that it’s pending and you need to put your number on the 17th and then we can start the process of returning it. I said OK I don’t wanna get stuck and lose my number. No, you’ll be fine is what they told me. So I put my number on the phone and so now I’m ready to trade it in and now they tell me you have to mail the phone in with your number! So now I’m like no way do you mean to tell me I gotta give you the phone and my phone number and you’re telling me it’s gonna be upwards of 2 to 3 weeks until I get the phone canceled and get another phone I said I can’t be without my phone. I have a family. I have people that called me for business, etc. they send me a label for the 17th to return it FedEx. But after so much hassle and me realizing that it was nearly impossible to return the 17 without losing my number. I just decided I’ll keep the 17 too much headache. I’ll send in my 15 Pro Max. Here’s where I got even crazier so they never sent me a return label for the 15 as it stands today, I’m still waiting for a return label for the trade-in to get the value reduced from the full price of the phone so that they accept my 15 as a trade. They never sent me a label. They just sent me a box with a 17 with nothing in it none of my emails have a return label for the 15 this has to be the worst rent company. They don’t know left hand from right hand. I would steer clear if I could, but if you’re reading, this is probably too late. This is an ongoing issue.
