switch sim card

I dropped my MOT g 2025 and broke the screen. I have a Pixel 8 (that was previously on my system). I moved the SIM card to the "new" phone. The phone will call, receive and text,  but it won't let me set up WiFi calling on my Xfinity system.  Help please.

Well, I found the answer. In spite of the fact that this same Pixel phone was previously on my account (it was damaged and didn't get fixed for a while)...Xfinity NOW says it isn't acceptable into their system   I bought it from Google, not Xfinity...but..it WAS my Xfinity phone for year.

Anyhow, I was lucky to find someone who could fix my dropped Motorola phone, so I am back in business with it.

If/when my "deal" with Xfinity expires, I'll be checking other options. They sure didn't make me feel welcomed in spite of 15/20 years with them in two locations.

user_a2c9be Thank you for letting me know the outcome of your situation. I'm sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you had trying to activate your Pixel 8 with Xfinity NOW Mobile. It's disheartening when a long-time customer, like yourself, feels unwelcome, especially after being with them for 15 to 20 years. We never want our customers to feel that way. I'm glad, however, that you were able to get your trusty Motorola phone fixed and are back in business! That's a great win.
