Social Security issue

I have been trying to buy a new phone for 4 days and am unable to because the response is that my SSN is wrong.  3 trips to the store, multiple calls to Xfinty mobile,  CSA etc and I keep getting passed between low level agents who can't help and arn't able to transfer me to someone who can.  I have an incident ticket which doesn't appear to help.  I'm begining to think that the only way to upgrade my phone is to go to another carrier.
