Sim Lock Issue

Good morning! I paid off my iPhone 15 yesterday morning in the amount of $172.97. After speaking with a chat agent, I was told the unlock request was placed and would completed within 24 hours. That was yesterday around 8 AM EST and it is currently 10:30 PM EST, my phone still says it is sim locked. May anyone assist with getting this fixed so that my phone is no longer sim locked? Thanks so much!
