Samsung Visual Voicemail Finally Working

Visual Voicemail is now working for me, somewhat unexpectedly. My S26 is a Samsung unlocked device connected to Xfinity Mobile. For years, I had been using Youmail because the Xfinity VVM app no longer worked with current phones and the Samsung VVM app was only visual in the sense that it showed a list of recorded messages so I could choose which to play, but did not provide transcription. When I got my S26, I assumed nothing had improved and stuck with Youmail. On a whim, I recently tried disabling Youmail and enabling Samsung VVM and discovered the Samsung app is now providing transcriptions properly. I generally prefer to stick with a native Samsung or Google app unless and until there is a good reason for a 3rd party app, so now I'm sticking with Samsung VVM. I do no know whether this change is the result of getting a new device, getting it directly from Samsung unlocked, or the OneUI 9 update, but am happier now.
