Samsung S23 Ultra has been paid off for 6 months and Xfinity cannot unlock.
My S23 Ultra has been paid off for 6 months and support can not get the phone unlocked. Here are the options I have tried:
1. Automated attendant put in a request to unlock within 24 hours. No luck
2. Called support twice and both were "escalated" and I was told they would be unlocked with 24 hours. No luck
3 Went to a local Xfinity store and was told it was unlocked and nothing they can do. No luck
4. Paid a 3rd party company to unlock and waited about 7 days. No luck.
This is really shocking as I see this is common with Xfinity. This is a <$1000 phone which is paid in full and they seem very unwilling to solve this. To make it worse when you call they try and re-sell you on their service? Are you kidding me?
Do not use Xfinity as it appears to be a typical scam.

If you need to unlock your Xfinity Mobile phone, so it can be used with another wireless carrier, no problem. In most cases, your phone will be unlocked automatically within up to 48 hours of being paid off.
Here are the other unlock requirements to be aware of:
We don’t unlock phones for international travel unless the requirements above are met.
Only the account holder, Primary user, or a Manager on a phone’s original Xfinity Mobile account can request to have it unlocked. Do you meet these requirements? Are you (or was) the account holder/Primary User/Manager for that phone?
