returned new phone and now being charged for the phone
I ordered an Iphone 17 Pro in mid-December of 2025. When I received the item, I decided the phone was too small for me. I spoke with customer service who assured me they could resolve the issue by sending me the Iphone 17 Pro Max. They sent me an email with the FedEx return label and asked me to return the phone. I returned the Iphone in the same packaging that the phone was shipped in. I received an email stating that Xfinity was charging me for a phone that I returned new that they claimed had significant damage upon receipt. They attempted to auto deduct $1189.77 from my bank account that I did not authorize. I have been a loyal customer carrying 2 phones and internet on my own for 7 years. As well as several years prior with my ex-husband. This is my first issue with Xfinity, but the unauthorized auto deduct attempt is enough to prompt me to switch carriers and write to the FCC and FTC.
