My phone died on vacation. I'll need help transferring data. Do I need to order a new one or can I just go to a store?

@user_ti2e3k What is the brand phone that you have? Do you have a device protection plan? Depending on when you purchased the phone, there may be a warranty. I would contact the manufacturer for options if you don't have a protection plan. If an iPhone, you could visit a local store for help.

Samsung S20 Ultra. Out of warranty and no protection plan.

Will a store have a new S25+ in stock and have people to transfer data?

Or do I have to order?

@user_ti2e3k A store may have the phone in stock and if not they can assist you with an order. Did you have the phone backed up? That is how I transfer data between my phones whenever I have upgraded or replacing one I damaged beyond repair.
