renaming my phone in the Xfinity app
Bought new iPhone. Activated it with Xfinity. It is fully provisioned, but the new phone (iPhone 17) still shows up under the old name (iPhone 12). This is just the nickname. The rest of the data for the new phone is correct. I see no way to change it. Google suggests using the "three dots" menu next to the device. But that doesn't exist.

You are able to review and make changes to your account settings via the Xfinity App. The article below is referring to changing your contact number, but this should also give you an option to adjust the phone nickname.
