Reactivating previously "transferred" phone number

Back in June, I ported out a number from my account to a different carrier. That port out did not apparently fully/correctly go through, and I am needing to get the number temporarily reactivated with Xfinity so that I can restart the transfer process. I have spoken with someone on live support twice and they have claimed to have reactivated the number, but no device or number ever shows up on my account. Please advise.

user_vu83rq Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forums Support for assistance with your mobile services, and phone number. I'd be delighted to get you in the right direction for a resolution. Have you tried calling our Xfinity Mobile Sales and Service team at 1-888-936-4968 to see what the delay could be, or have you been given any ticket numbers?

I have not spoken to anyone in person, only through chat. No ticket numbers were ever provided, each time they just said that they reactivated the number and to give it a couple hours to update.

Got it, @user_vu83rq. Thank you for confirming! Since Xfinity Mobile support is somewhat limited for our Digital Care Team via social media, we ask that you reach directly out (by call or text) to our Xfinity Mobile Sales and Service team at 1-888-936-4968 for further assistance with your mobile device. You may also use our secure online chat, which it sounds like you know. I recommend trying their direct line next since you haven't yet, but please let us know if you have any trouble reaching them. Our Digital Care Team is the best at resolving concerns quickly, and we can always step in to help aid your communication with our Xfinity Mobile executive team if necessary. I hope this helps!
