RCS group messages not coming through on iPhone

Messages are not coming through in group chats with android users. There seems to be an issue with RCS messages on our iPhone as the settings show "waiting for activation".

We've tried a turning on/off RCS and iMessages and restarting the phone multiple times. Nothing has fixed this yet.
