Porting

When I was convinced to change carriers to xfinity mobile since I already had xfinity for my internet, I was offered $700 for each of my two iPhone 11 as a trade in on new iPhones.  It took almost a year for the credit to actually appear despite more than 5 calls and two visits to the xfinity store. A colossal waste of my time.  The I phone 14 was about $50 more than the the trade in value of $700.  I have since moved and Spectrum is my new carrier.  They offered me a much better deal for the mobile service, so I wanted to get my phones unlocked.  However, after multiple transfers, I was told that it would cost around $1000 to unlock the phones.  I am in essence locked into xfinity for two years since they only dribble out $29 a month for the credit, which should have started a year ago but only recently began. 

I can’t wait to end my relationship with X finity.
