Porting in number from Verizon to xfinity going on day two and no answers.

I decidied to make the jump to xfinity from Verizon cuz the internet and phone deals were to good to pass up so I made my order online and get a new iPhone 17 and wanted to keep my number from Verizon since I had it since middle school. I got my phone in the mail 6/3 and tried activating the line and it kept saying in progress. After about an 2 hours I called in and talked to someone who said it looks all good on there end and should be done by 2:00am okay strange but no problem. The next morning I woke up and still no service on my new phone talked to someone online and the told me they would bump up the issue and would be fixed the promised in two hours. I waited 3 hours went by and I went into the store where the guy told me there was nothing they can do in store and that because a ticket was open they couldn’t do anything and no one could help me and it’s was a Verizon issue cuz they were good on xfinity ends. I called Verizon and they said if I have my info then it’s on xfinity to pull the number and my number wasn’t locked so it should go through. Now it’s been 3 more hours since then and still nothing and no one will help me and I am at a lost of what to do cuz now it’s been two days at this point and no one can even tell me what’s going on and how we can fix this issue. I switched to xfinity to get away from Verizon’s customer service and now I’m regretting signing up for both home and mobile.
