Port In Adventures

I have been trying unsuccessfully since January to port a number from my CenturyLink landline to one of my Xfinity Mobile phones. I have spent many hours in chats and many hours on the phone with XF customer service to no avail. Generally, what happens is I am in contact for an hour or two, then am told that everything is fine, that I just have to wait a week for the transfer. Then a week passes, and I start over again. CS never has any record of what has been done in the past, so I have to repeat all of the information, then listen to the agent's understanding of what needs to be done, then go through whatever they think the process is (never the same), then get to the "wait a week" part.

One CS agent assigned me a new number to use as a placeholder on the e-SIM on the destination phone. Subsequent agents have not seen it. I have even had the CS agent on a three-way call with CenturyLink, so that there should be no misunderstanding of the process. Still, nothing. My legendary Zen-like patience is beginning to wear thin. This landline is costing me $80/month while it remains at CenturyLink.

I'm not sure why I am posting here, except in some tiny hope that maybe this is the way to get it done. I dunno. Help?
