Phone trade in/Assurant offer Number

I have spoken to Xfinity Mobile customer service twice now regarding my trade in offer. I received the Iphone 17, and as part of it I had sent in my Iphone 12 as a trade-in for a credit towards the phone. I was told by an Xfinity customer service agent I had to call Assurant and give them an offer #. He told me the offer I received in my email from the Iphone 12 would be honored. I have called Assurant multiple times and there is no one to speak to in order to provide this offer number. I also tried the live chat agent from Assurant who told me that Assurant does not deal with this and to call Xfinity. How can I provide this offer number to a company that does not provide someone to speak to? All I want to make sure is that the offer sent to me in my email for the credit towards the new phone balance is applied to my account. It does not even let me accept or reject the offer but tells me I have until the 13th to do so.

Hello, @pwr194 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for assistance, and want to ensure you're able to take advantage of trade in promotion for the iPhone 17. Please let me know if you're still needing assistance, I did find this helpful document on our website that has more information on how to send the trade in device: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/trade-in-old-phone

I have now called 4 times, today I was told that I needed to complete the accept offer part on my end but there is no offer on my account, I was then transferred to someone else who told me "Do not worry, it will be automatically credited towards the balance of the new phone". Which I am really hoping is the case because if the deadline given of the 13th comes and goes and it is not applied, and I am then told it is too late deadline has passed, that is not my fault as I have made numerous attempts to accept this offer. My online account still does not reflect the credit by the way.

@pwr194 thank you for taking time to follow up. From experience, I know that if the trade in device isn't received by Assurant. The monthly device credit won't be applied, and again completely understand with this being on a time crunch for the 13th.

If I'm reading everything correctly, the iPhone 12 hasn't been sent in, correct?
