Phone Trade In Credit help

I recently updated my phone to save money because the savings of upgrading the phone with the trade in was a more affordable option for me. 

In June, I sent my perfectly functioning phone through the process and it was received and everything by Assurant. After 2 months, I called and I was told that it would take 2-3 billing cycles to see the credit and that I would be retroactively given the credits from when I got the phone. It is now the end of October and I still have not received any of the credit and my bill is too high. Everytime I try to call it is impossible to get to a person, and last time I was successful, the person was able to give me no information besides keep waiting.

Is there anyone out here who can help me?
