Phone not activating

I have been waiting almost 7 hours for my phone to activate from Verizon to Xfinity. I transferred my husbands phone # and my ipad with no issues, service transferred within minutes. Something is wrong with my activation. I called and spoke to a representative, she said my phone would activate at 5 pm. It is 2 hours past that. Can someone please help me?
