Out of area number

For smartwatch lines, Xfinity Mobile assigns numbers from an available system-generated pool. The number selected is used primarily for network provisioning and billing purposes, and the area code does not necessarily correspond to your physical location. Since these numbers are assigned automatically, we are unable to choose a specific area code or change the number assigned to a smartwatch line. The good news is that the watch's assigned number is generally used behind the scenes for service activation. When paired with an iPhone, calls and messages typically continue to function through the primary phone line and Apple Watch features.
