NOW Mobile - LOST Phone Number - NEED SOMEONE Competent

How can you get to someone competent on the NOW Mobile Chat Platform. I am currently going in circles trying to get my mother's phone number connected to the correct NOW Mobile Line. It was ported out from Verizon and was supposed to be connected to her existing iPhone but they assigned that iPhone a phone number we didn't want/need. I paused the service so I wasn't paying while they figured it out and now I can't un-pause it and the number is out there in the abyss. I have spent hours and hours talking with reps on the chat who claim to open tickets and then nothing happens. I have gone to the xFinity store and do have a helpful associate that is trying to help, but they are also getting the run around.  This has been SO FRUSTRATING. I just need my mother's phone number back and NO ONE seems to know what they are doing.
