You can request this PIN online by signing in to your Xfinity Mobile account, selecting the device associated with the number, and navigating to the "Transfer your number, cancel this line" section. After sending a one-time passcode (OTP) to your line and confirming it, you will receive the security PIN via text. This PIN is valid for 24 hours. If not used within that time, you can request a new one.

Hi there, @user_nio0xr Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out regarding needing your phone unlocked.

 

Most of the time, your phone unlocks automatically within 48 hours of being paid off.

 

Here are other unlock rules:

  • Your phone must be activated for at least 60 days.
  • The phone must be paid in full.
  • Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
  • Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.

If you feel you meet these conditions but your phone is still locked, please chat with Xfinity Assistant. Devices will not be eligible to use a SIM from another provider — such as a local data plan when traveling internationally — until all required device-unlock eligibility guidelines have been met. 

Only the account holder, Primary user, or a Manager on a phone’s Xfinity Mobile account can request to have it unlocked.
