My Xfinity sim card is not working

Please help Xfinity sim card not working  and I can't place call. I'm  a senior that have to be able to call for ambulance and medical assistance.

Thank you for your input.  I had to take my phone into the Xfinity  store, they installed a new sim card, phone working now.
