Multiple trips, multiple promises, nothing to show for it

Jesus, not only the experience but just had a 'site experiencing issues' error flash and dropped everything I had written...

I went in to the closest Xfinity (30 minutes drive one way) about a month ago to help my mom upgrade her phone

At the time I was told that there was a solid trade in option for my pixel 7 pro to get into pixel 9 pro XL when the phone was released

I was told this would run through September 

I went into the store last week, it was busy and after hearing what I was trying to accomplish the check in person suggested setting an appointment for next week instead

Came in for the appointment to find out the promotion ended last week 

The person helping me basically said, "not our fault, nothing we can do, just wait and pray that in the next few months another trade in runs"

Really great and happy to see that they live up to their word! 

I've spent a decent amount of time getting everything ready for a new device and even more time just driving back n forth for no one to offer an acceptable solution let alone an apology 

Will be buying directly through google
