Manual eSim install on iPhone

I bought a new iPhone and want to transfer my Xfinity service to the new phone manually without the app.  How can I get Xfinity to generate a new e-Sim and give me the QR code?  I tried chat support but they were no help.  This should be straightforward.  I've already added the new phone (IMEI) to my account.
