Lost phone service, customer service is a joke
Ordered an iPhone 17 as upgrade to current iPhone 12. Received new phone but then found out will not be able to have xfinity service at new home we are moving to in 1 week. Did not open phone box or activate phone. Contacted xfinity customer service multiple times over 5 days and each time they said a return label would be sent via email. Never received a label. Finally was able to receive a return label at the nearest xfinity store, and was reassured multiple times that current service and iPhone 12 would not be impacted. iPhone 12 stopped working shortly after. Then a customer service rep messed up the lines and switched my number to my spouse’s phone. iPhone 12 is gone from our account. Neither phone can receive or make calls. Multiple customer service reps, including supervisors, have hung up on us. No one at xfinity will acknowledge their mistakes or fix the issue.
