iPhone unlock

The iPhones on my Xfinity Mobile plan are paid off, but they are not unlocked.  Your website says this should happen automatically, but it hasn't.  I am trying to use an esim in the UK, but because it is locked it will not go through.  I have not been able to find anyone to help resolve this issue, and it is very frustrating.

Here are the other unlock requirements to be aware of:

  • At least 60 days must pass since your phone was activated.
  • Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
  • Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.

If you believe you’ve met these requirements, but your phone is still locked, please chat with Xfinity Assistant.

Problem resolved by a very helpful chat agent. I met all the requirements mentioned and found the most helpful chat agent out there. He listened to my problems and unlocked both of my phones while we were still connected on chat so I could install the SIM cards I needed for my vacation in the UK.

Unsure why my phones did not unlock immediately after being paid off, but a non-issue now thanks to the most helpful chat agent, Suresh.
