Iphone trade in device credit not honored

I traded in my old Iphone 14 pro max to xfinity last May.  Since then, I have to spend hours on the phone every month trying to get them to manually apply the credit.  I am at my wits end.  When they do start a ticket to investigate it, the always say they will fix this and get back to me.  When I check the ticket number a few days later, it shows the ticket closed with no action to resolve our problem.  No one ever follows up to explain what happened, so every time I call, I have to start over. My advice to any of you thinking about trading in your old phone to Xfinity-don't do it!
