iPad scam!!!

Just like many others I was offered a “free” iPad in order to lower my Wi-Fi bill and then hit with the hidden 3 year payoff contract only after the return window closed. Now they are refusing to take it back and giving me the run around.

I’ve literally spent HOURS on the phone with them LYING to me. I say lying because while one female agent said they can’t accept it even thought it’s never been opened or activated. I called back and a male agent told me that they are going to process a refund for all I’ve paid so far and also said they would send a return label code so I can drop it off at a store. Hours later I didn’t get the email so I called back and it’s clear this third agent sees nothing on file about them agreeing to have me return it so he starts giving me the same lying runaround then ended with they are going to do an account investigation in order to assist me, that literally made no sense. Why does xfinity treat us like we’re idiots? 

glad I found this forum because I’m going to report to the FCC and BBB and also already have my bank in agreement to block payments or whatever assistance I need to legally file against these deceitful practices. Such disgusting behavior and I’ve been with them for years but I’m for sure going to switch services since this is what they’ve come to. Not worth your time or money.
