ipad scam

I was also scammed by comcast for the free ipad and the multiproduct discount. I received an empty box but messages saying the devise was delivered, I need to activate it and either way comcast will start charging me for the mobile line. I called comcast immediately and reported this and demanded they note I received no ipad, cancel that multiproduct deal and not charge me. They only thing they said after making me wait an hour on the phone was that they filed a ticket. And then today another call saying my devise arrived and I have to activate it. No note that the box was empty and no resolve from comcast. If there is a lawyer reading this please organize us into a class action lawsuit against comcast. I am so dissapointed in this company. Stay away from this scam.

I got an iPad from them a couple of weeks ago. I never open anything from them (or others if it's an expensive item) without filming myself unboxing it. Too many people get empty boxes these days... and it may not be their fault. There's a lot of stealing going on at FedEx, UPS and USPS. Also, when you opened the box... were the strips that you peel off intact?

Hello @user_r9vbwi, thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Community Forum. I am sorry to hear about your experience. I'm sure I would feel the same if I was in your shoes. You've come to the right place for assistance.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
