I want to port my xfinity voice landline to xfinity mobile

I have had the same landline number for 30 years and don’t to give up the actual number. But I’d like to cancel my xfinity voice plan and get rid of the phone modem/wifi gateway and get the WiFi gateway only. I have xfinity mobile and a cell number. How do I port my xfinity landline to my xfinity mobile plan?

@user_vzj5uj You can port out your Xfinity land line to a mobile device. You just can't port it to your existing phone, even if it supports dual SIM/eSIM. Xfinity Mobile only supports one mobile service per device. You can do this by adding a new line to your account. You will provide your Xfinity landline information, including the number, account number, and a porting PIN of 0000. Once porting is completed, your landline service is cancelled. No need to do anything else. You will keep and use your existing modem. No need to swap anything.

So, would I add the new line to my existing Xfinity mobile iPhone, or would I have to get a new mobile phone for the new line?

user_vzj5uj Correct, it would have to be a separate device as each device can only be associated with one number.
