I can't change password, payment type or anything else
I had to get a new phone number thanks to an illegal port and since then I've had problems. I tried to update payment info but it says I need to update contact info and when I click "send new code" nothing happens. It also shows my new number twice with one "pending verification" and one seems usable but when I use that and try to manage text messages it asks to verify my number again and when I click "send new code" again nothing happens. I was on the phone with the tech support specific people (three different ones) and they couldn't help. I get the same results when I use the app. This is my last hope or I'll have to try a different carrier or maybe new number.

Greetings, @roadcykler! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble getting your User ID information updated so you can log in to your account again. Our Customer Security Assurance Team, CSA can help. They are able to authenticate your account and update the information for you. From there, you can reset the password and log in to your account. You can reach them by calling 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489). This page has their contact information and hours they are available.
