How to add email app to home screen

I am going to answer my own question since accessing email on the app is cumbersome.  How can I add my email to home screen to bypass using the app to get there.

Answer: Android or iphone, go the the WEBSITE on your phone (through Safari for iphone) to access your email. Once on the site, (droid) click on the 3 dots and click "Add to Home Screen". Boom. Done.  iPhone, open up site in Safari and then tap the share icon (box with upward arrow) Share to home screen. 

I don't know why Comcast is torturing users with the access to email on the newer app, but this will allow you to go straight to your email without all of the steps on the app. Hope this helps!
