How do I file a complaint?

I went to the Xfinity store here in Fox Chapel PA, to take advantage of sale on last day it was offered. Got a new IPHONEn16 Pro Max. Of course, it was out of stock at the store so they said "no problem, we will have it delivered by FedEx, it might be there Saturday... but could take a few extra days because of the holiday.

No problem. right?

Saturday no phone.

I never heard a thing from FedEx during this ENTIRE fiasco

I did receive a notice from Xfinity that it was "in transit" and that a SIGNATURE will be required upon arrival.

Then another on Monday saying that I should get my phone activated because the billing "cycle" was starting.

By the time Tuesday got here I thought that I should give them a call.

Good luck getting a live person on the phone

They looked up the transit order and informed me that FedEx delivered my phone on Jan 4. Since it was NOT delivered, I asked her "How did they get a signature, since I never got it?"

She told me that they did get one, it was signed by "CREAD". I have no idea who CREAD is...

Here is where the asinine part of Xfinity comes into play...

They told me that I am the one responsible for filing a police report and faxing it to them. I verified this at the Xfinity store.

Why am I responsible? I never had possession of said phone...

After arguing with them I figured it would be easier to just go file the police report.

I did that on Wednesday. It was now 8 days since i purchased the iPhone.

When I filed the report, I told Mr. policeman that Xfinity required me to get a copy to fax to them and he told me that they don't ever give you a copy of the police report, just the report number.

So, I went back to the store (4th visit since the original where the salesman said that the police should have given me a report and that he NEVER heard of such a thing. As if by going and telling the policeman that the salesman said this that they would all of a sudden relent and give me one?

Again... Why am I responsible? I never had possession of said phone...

After arguing with him, he reluctantly faxed the form with the number of the police report, the Police Departments name. phone # and a note explaining that they do not allow the complaint filer to obtain a copy.

He also said that I should file a complaint with FedEx.

Did I mention that it was day 8 and STILL not a peep from FedEx. Not that it was ever "In Transit" and surely nothing about that it was delivered to "CREED"

Why am I responsible? I never had possession of said phone...

I filed a complaint with FedEx last night (day 8)

So here I wait, getting charged by their billing cycle for a phone that Xfinity failed to provide THROUGH THEIR FAULT, NOT MINE.

Today I received an email from FedEx... they informed me that my package was delivered on Jan 4 (this was the message that they never sent on Jan 4). Oh... and it was signed for by "CREAD". I have no idea who "CREAD" is...

Two very inept businesses
