HELP!!!!!!!!
I recently upgraded and ordered a new device through Xfinity Mobile. The device arrived today, and when I attempted to activate it, I contacted technical support for assistance. Unfortunately, during the activation process, the support technicians made changes to my account that resulted in multiple lines being disrupted. I now have several phone lines that are not working properly.
I have already spent approximately four hours dealing with technical support trying to resolve this issue. After all of that, I am now being told that I may have to wait 7–10 business days for the problem to be corrected. That is completely unacceptable, particularly when these issues occurred as a direct result of the activation and support process.
I find it extremely troubling that Xfinity would leave customers without functioning phones and simply tell them to wait days for a solution. Customers should not be left without working phone service because of an issue created by Xfinity's own activation process.
I switched my mobile service to Xfinity to save money and expected reliable service and customer support. Instead, my first device upgrade has resulted in multiple lines being disrupted and no immediate solution being provided.
It has also been extremely frustrating trying to get someone on the phone who actually understands the issue and has the technical knowledge to resolve it. I have been transferred between representatives and support channels without getting a clear solution, and it seems nearly impossible to reach someone who can actually take ownership of the problem.
I need this matter escalated immediately to someone who has the authority and technical ability to restore all of my affected lines. I cannot be without functioning phone service for 7–10 business days.
If Xfinity cannot resolve this issue promptly, I will return the new device and cancel my Xfinity Mobile and other Xfinity services and return to my previous carrier.
I am asking Xfinity to take responsibility for this situation and restore my phone service as quickly as possible.
