Had byod line now trying to get iPhone

I get this error when trying to upgrade my device to iPhone 18pro with trade in.

You’re over the number of lines you can have on device payment plans. For one or more lines, you’ll need to pay in full or bring your own devices to continue. Or you can reduce the number of devices in cart.

4 total lines on account. 2 have iPhones that are at no charge due to trade in credits other 2 we're byod

Hello @user_cg972i, and thank you for reaching out to us on our Community Forum. You've come to the right place for help, and we understand how concerning it can be to receive a message indicating you've exceeded the number of lines eligible for device payment plans.

Typically, eligibility for Xfinity Mobile Device Payment Plans (DPPs) is determined by factors such as a soft credit check, account standing, payment history, and the total financing limit available on the account. Even when some devices are receiving trade-in credits, they may still count toward the overall financing limit. As device balances are paid down, available financing eligibility can increase over time.

You can learn more about Device Payment Plan eligibility here: Xfinity Mobile Eligibility FAQs.

When you're ready, we're happy to take a closer look and help review the options available on your account. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to "Xfinity Support". To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.
